I noticed that the avatar screen provides quite a good rear view if you manually rotate the screen (see pic). Unfortunately the view is not fixed and returns after a few seconds to the regular forward view. For better situational awareness it would be great to allow the driver to hold the rear view in place without keeping your finger on the screen. Should be an easy option to implement and improve overall safety.
Most of the status and warning text is too small to read for people who need to wear glasses for driving. An option for larger text onscreen, particularly the driving information in the top panel (aside from speed) and any of the warning and notifications that appear.
There are people that like Coke vs Pepsi. Some wash their legs when they shower and some don't. Is the shoe pink or gray? Some controversies are never resolved.
But, can we all agree to display battery % remaining AND miles remaining at the same time? Then we would all be happy.
It would be highly desirable to be able to view the Web or play games in full screen as long as the car is stopped in Parking mode.
Integrate Waze maps into the navigation system. Being able to crowd source events while driving.
For example, I bought a white Tesla but then got my car wrapped and now it's blue.

It would be great to support Netflix on the touchscreen while the car is parked or charging. This would make supercharging much more enjoyable.
Allow Tesla owner to select text size. It is extremely difficult for older users to read The owner manual or read quick messages while driving.
In addition to the clock widget on the dashboard screen, how about a simple weather widget? Also, additional weather information in the route planning and on the map would be helpful. For example, the route planner could display what temperature it will be at the destination location (based on the time of arrival of course).
-Periodically fade-in / fade-out projected range, calculated using the average of the 5- and 15-mile avg power consumptions
-Determine if need to show range every 3 minutes, based on whether a significant change in consumption has occurred (or if it's been >10 minutes since last shown)
-If projected range needs to be shown... more »
It would be nice if I could click on the "posted speed limit" display on my Model 3, when the ACTUAL posted speed is not what the car thinks. You could pass this thru to whatever service you get speed limits from and they could use voting-metrics to verify it needs review.
Touch screen should display as a one liner the name of the next cross street that will be encountered. This is very useful when driving through an unfamiliar town. My previous Mazda 3 has this feature which I miss sorely on my Model 3.
