A dead battery is the worst. Once Tesla designs the new inverters how about adding the ability to bump charge a Tesla with a Tesla so you can get to a nearby charger? Add an S.O.S. button to inform nearby owners you need a bump and offer supercharger credits for being a Good Samaritan. 5% might just save someone hours of hassle and hundreds of dollars.
Create a charging pad Tesla owners could install on their garage floor. When you park your Tesla on your garage the battery starts charging automatically ;)
Obs.: this would be an optional device.
For example, using yesterday's emissions data from the California ISO website, and a simple model (car needs to be ready in the morning, max charging rate at 7 kW, 80 daily miles), I estimate... more »
I live on a border between currencies and it sucks that my bank is getting to keep a conversion fee for payments even though I have proper payment methods in both currencies.
Please allow multiple payment methods and setting the currency for them.
Another use would be business/private accounts (from @walt.ehle)
The AC charging current can be adjusted before and during an AC charging session from the car's center UI unit within a range from 5 to 16 A. That's great! The API allows external authenticated controllers to adjust and control some charging details (start and stop charging, target soc level), but it does not yet allow to adjust the charging current this way.

Hood has a good real estate that could be utilized to use solar energy to charge vehicles while parking and/or driving.
If this was exists, I would definitely get it on my Model Y!
Can third party and public chargers be integrated into maps. Both DC and AC chargers. In a country like Australia this is not only a convenience but a necessity.
I have my roofs all covered with Tesla solar panels and I have plenty of power that I'd like to make money by selling my power to other electric car owners in the neighborhood where my house and/or business.
I have a control on my app to turn the availability on and off for my units like operators/owners do for Uber or Lyft or airbnb.
With Elon's announcement that Superchargers will be open to other manufacturers now would be the time to offer a CCS at a reasonable cost to current owners who wish (or need) to use other charging networks.
Home Charging Suggestion, add a feature to turn charging off at 6am? I'm some markets, rates go way up early in the mourning. Adding the Charge Stop Time will save lots of $.
A lot of Superchargers don't have trash cans, and the result of that is trash laying everywhere throughout the Supercharger station.
-remove your car from the queue if you leave a geofenced area
-your Tesla won't charge until it's your turn (can't jump the queue).
-tells you which stall to use for optimal performance
-holds your place in line If you are on a planned route
-notifies you when your car is almost ready so you can go do other things while... more »
I've an issue with the German transport minister wanting Tesla to open up its charging network to competing EV manufacturers. All that will do is shift the buying publics focus from buying a Tesla because it has a superior product and charging infrastructure.
If this happened and you pull up to your supercharger in your Tesla, only to find them all occupied by Audi's etc.
Sometimes, we simply want to top up for free using exactly the amount of solar that the smart inverter is generating - "Follow the sun charging". In this way, use all the free energy, but don't burden the grid either - just a nice little top up.
Idea can be extended to PowerWall stored energy too.
