I would like to suggest a Bluetooth connectivity ability to those with hearing disabilities & Hearing aids. Bluetooth would be able to speak to the driver with functions such as navigation, emergency vehicles approaching (which lane). For those who are deaf, Tesla can have visual/vibrations for autopilot, emergency notifications.
Problem: the child-protection lock for the falcon wing doors only prevents a child from opening the FWDs. It does not turn off the switch for purposes of closing the doors. Anyone with kids knows that this button is enticing! And they can easily touch the button with their hands or feet (by accident or on purpose).
Solution: Disable this FWD button on the pillar when the child protection lock is enabled.
Even gloves usable with touchscreen suck to use on a touchscreen. All Teslas need to come with a heated steering wheel.
Basic sentry mode for HW1 Selected
For cars with HW1, sentry mode isn't supported. However, this idea would be to have a "fake" sentry mode whereby when it's enabled, the screen would display the Hal9000 eye, just to scare would-be thieves.
In high traffic areas, lots of folks like to ditch densely packed freeways for slightly longer routes through city streets or country roads. Personally I rather drive 10 mins longer to be moving the whole time.
When involved in an accident Walk Away door lock and Pin to start should auto disable as these could impede the tow truck driver, insurance adjuster, body shop, etc. from being able to do their jobs.
Garage Mode Selected
Have the car auto automatically select "Garage Mode" when the car detects that you are in the garage. Just like Home link knows you're home. This mode leaves the car unlocked so that you can come back whenever to get something inside, load golf bags, even charge without having to get a key to get into your own car in your garage.
Display side cameras when backing up Implemented
In addition to tilting the rear mirrors down when backing up, it would be helpful to show the side cameras when backing up on the display. Especially since the S/X is so wide, its helpful to see the curb when parking.
Allow integration with Tesla solar inverter for vehicle-to-home power transfer for emergency coverage during blackouts in place of Power Wall.

In the service menu, add a button to track that the tires have been rotated. Then have a reminder every X number of miles/km.
When your Tesla mobile app notices that you are getting close to the car (say in the parking lot), the climate system is turned on and starts to cool down the crazy hot car to its last known temperature setting. Now you have a nice cool car waiting for you... more »
Background: sometimes you want to type in a password (or paste from a password manager) on the web browser. It's a pain to type a long complicated password on the touchscreen
Idea: similar to AppleTV, allow the mobile app to pop-up an input box whenever the touch screen is seeking input. Then you could easily type from your phone keyboard.
Problem: A driver profile has the Easy Entry enabled and moves the seat all the way back when the car is put into park. But if there is a passenger behind the driver they will instantly be struck with horror as they see the seat slowly moving toward them like the crushing walls of so many action films. Paralyzed with... more »
