Modes

Reminder to shut off sentry mode during long term parking.

I parked at the airport for 4 days with sentry mode on. The battery went down from 260 to 85 km. After my return I was shocked but able to reach a supercharger with remaining 10 km.

Would be great when the system asks to deactivate sentry mode when navigation recognices that you are parking at an airport or train station.

Add Shortcut for Steering Wheel Heater

To turn on the steering wheel heater on the Model Y requires 3 button clicks.  A couple improvements can be made for this:

As part of the drivers profile, provide an optional setting to automatically activate the steering wheel heater when the inside temp is below a certain temperature.

Provide a shortcut for turning on/off the heated steering wheel along the bottom of the screen, or alternatively on the "car" shortcuts... more »

Video recording by honking the horn to set the GPS address Unverified Translation

It would be very desirable that the video recording when honking the horn put the GPS position as the file name. To make a report of a serious traffic violation it is extremely interesting to be able to send the video recordings but you also have to provide the exact place where the violation occurs and it would be perfect if the name of the file included the GPS position, at least in the case of recordings saved when... more »

Manually adjust center-left-right position in auto parking Edited

Autopark usually center the car in the available place, no matter if the position is not centered between the lines. That is not the preferable option in whole of the cases.

It would be better if the driver could select the side to be fitted to, tapping the preferred side in the picture of the car and the blue lines.

That is specially important if you made recurrent parkings in the same places, so it would be a function... more »

Identify Which Stalls are Out of Order in UI

It's common practice to place a supercharger cable over the top of the charger if a particular stall is out of order. The goal is to save other people from backing in and then realizing it's not working.

The display currently shows how many stays are working, but it doesn't show you which stalls are out of order.

Suggestion: show which stalls are out of order right in the display.

Turn on rear view camera on home link automatic garage open

When I come home my garage door automatically opens thanks to homelink aka batman mode.

Then I manually turn on the rear view camera so I know when I've entered the garage threashold (I know, first world problems).  Now I don't need a tennis ball or laser guides to know how far to pull in.

I would love there to be an option for auto-rear view cameras on homelink just like there is for auto-fold mirrors.

reminder that bikes on top trending idea

I own a 2019 Model 3 and installed the Tesla roof rack.  I frequently put my bike on the rack.  I would love the ability to have my car remind me that a bike is on top when I approach my garage so I don't accidentally drive into it.  You would manually enable Bike-on-roof Mode.  As you approached your home the dash would alert you to remember not to drive into the garage.
