Passive Blindspot Detection Selected

- When AutoPilot is not activated, and turn signal is activated make a chime or sound play to alert driver to someone existing in blind spot. Similar to the mirror light blind spot functions other cars have. Instead of just a last second avoidance feature or visual on the screen which is not very safe to be looking at whilst driving.
- Could make another kind of "clicking" sound to passively let the driver know someone... more »

reminder that bikes on top

I own a 2019 Model 3 and installed the Tesla roof rack.  I frequently put my bike on the rack.  I would love the ability to have my car remind me that a bike is on top when I approach my garage so I don't accidentally drive into it.  You would manually enable Bike-on-roof Mode.  As you approached your home the dash would alert you to remember not to drive into the garage.

Charging

Charging complete alarm

Add button on charging screen to ring audible alarm when charging is complete. Needed to alert driver who may be taking a nap or engrossed watching a movie, etc. Add option for alarm volume for loud (nap mode) or low (no need to scare me), or increasing volume until cancel (best). This feature would avoid staying at charger too long, avoid idle fees, free up charging spot, etc. Note, I do not have the Tesla App available... more »

Convenience

Option to disable bing-bong when manually engaging Autosteer

When Autosteer is engaged the car goes bing-bong. This notification is not necessary since this is an intentional action. Provide a setting that disables this alert.

Also, when Autosteer is engaged and the driver uses the indicator it goes bing-bong as it disengages. This is an intentional action and so, again, the bing-bong notification is unnecessary. The setting should also disable this alert.

Speed limit alert

Currently in the Model 3, the Speed Limit icon on the screen changes to a slightly larger font when the vehicle exceeds the speed limit.

I would like to see that Speed Limit icon change from a white background into AMBER or ORANGE when the speed limit is exceeded. I would think that would not be difficult for Tesla to do.

Joe Mode++

Joe mode is helpful, but I still find my music interrupted far too often. For example, pulling into or out of the garage the car constantly dings to tell me how close I am to the wall. Since I don't go flying into my garage, this takes a bit of time and the music constantly fluctuates in the process. Also, every time I engage or disengage autopilot my music is partially muted. These annoy me.

I would like Joe Mode++,... more »

Autopilot

Hand Detection touch sensitive steering

Please add touch sensitivity to steering wheel which detects hand or fingers, rather than asking to put pressure on steering every 30 seconds or so.

No fingers, alert the driver

10 sec wait and no hands detected, pull safely to the side and stop.

Also add gestures on this sensitive area to take actions. Without taking hands off:

- takeover steering quietly ( 4 finger wrap)

- increasing/decreasing speed (left or right... more »

Autopilot

Reversion to loud sound and flashing when steering not twitched.

I have an early model S. The car made a great fuss when the wheel was not held when the Autopilot was engaged. That was not a problem back then since the autopilot steering could be jerky so one needed to supervise it. Now that the autopilot steering is much improved it is necessary to twitch the wheel to convey to the Autopilot that the driver is holding the wheel. Unfortunately the warning when you forget to twitch... more »
