Hand gestures to cameras so you can open frunk or trunk without having to get keys out.
Often we walk away from the car and forget to roll up the window or the trunk might not be closed all the way. If would be great if the could be alerts sent to your phone if:
- left keys in the car and its unlocked
- trunk or frunk not closed
- windows not closed
The trunk is "heavy" - the mechanism has a lot of pressure, so it's hard to close the trunk. It feels like the new trunk mechanism's that are not supposed to be closed by hand...except that the model 3 doesn't have a button. so the experience is funky and difficult!
I can set the trunk hatch to open in my garage and not hit the garage door, but when outside of the garage and in the car and I open from inside the car for my wife or kids to place on item in they always hit their heads on the hatch. I'd like to be able to long press the screen control button to open to full height and not over write the garage height. And then close as normal.
If you're away from your house, and you put something in the trunk and then drive home, the car reminds you that something might be in the trunk when you get home.
Open Front Trunk with 3 clicks on fob instead of 2. Too often I accidentally open the Front Trunk whole trying to open the Back Trunk via fob in my pocket.
Fob is in little pouch and not clear feel of what is front and what is back side of fob.
Open All Button Selected
Similar to the "Close All" button, it would be great if there was an "Open All" button for those times when you want get in the driveway and you want to release the entire cavalry (kids, dog in trunk, and balloons in the frunk).
Imagine you're at Costco and you just bought a skid of cheese puffs b/c you sampled them and they are amazing. But your hands are full with a million other things. No problem, your Tesla trunk opens up automatically b/c it knows you're at Costco.
h/t to @vm_one1 for the idea
