Touchscreen

Add 'waypoints' for making multiple stops on a single trip trending idea Selected

When traveling longer distances or when your battery is lower it would be nice to enter all of the destinations you need to stop so the navigation can tell you if/where you need to charge during this trip. The function of this would act just like google maps, you could enter all your destination points in the order you need to stop at them, with the added function of routing you to chargers if needed, just like the current... more »

Charging

Allow manual battery preconditioning for high speed charging

Add an option to manually initiate battery preconditioning for high speed charging.

In my home state of Tasmania, Australia, there are no Tesla Superchargers, but there are other third-party fast charging stations, including some new 350kW chargers. Unfortunately, because the Tesla Nav doesn't know about these third-party chargers, it doesn't know to begin preconditioning the battery for them, the way it does for Superchargers.... more »

Convenience

Heads Up Display (HUD)

A Heads Up Display would be great especially for Model 3, Y and the Cybertruck where there is no other display in front of the driver.

As FSD advances, and the car does most of the driving, the center screen will get more use for entertainment by passengers.
The driver should get to see some basics like battery, speed, speed limit and navigation data or warnings in the HUD.

Charging

Why not making this potential easily available to all Tesla drivers if they need a charge when out at a foreign place without a super or destination charger around. With just the following software extensions, this is easily possible:

1) Allow Tesla owners to register their home charging station with the... more »

Ferry mode

During this summer's vacation, i had to take a ferry numerous times with my Tesla 3. Once on the ferry, it is not allowed to stay in the car or on the car deck during the voyage. The first times, i experienced the alarm going off short time after departure, i suppose due to car being moved without driving and/or reacting to rocking due to waves. After some googling, i turned off the alarm, but this also means the whole... more »

Convenience

Navigation

Today I visited a golf course in NH, which wasn't found on my map, even though I provided the street address. I had to use my iPhone once I got to the town.

It would be very convenient, when arriving at a location; if I could somehow TAG the (GPS) location (as the car arrived) and name it for future use.

This might also help other Tesla owners and greatly improve navigation, by adding hidden desirable locations; a connection... more »

Navigation voice volume needs "Save"

I have a 2018 Model S. I like to keep the Navigation voice at the lowest setting possible. Whenever I'm listening to an audio source, whether radio, Tune-in or other, if I increase the volume while the Nav voice happens to be providing a command, the Nav volume is also raised. I then have to press the "settings" gear wheel on Nav to reset the voice assist to its lowest level ONCE AGAIN! Hrumpf! Can't a "Save" feature... more »
