Convenience

Automatic air recirculation mode

Often you activate the recirculation mode in a tunnel so that you don't have the unbearable stench of the combustion vehicle in your car. Usually you forget to deactivate this mode after the tunnel ... It would be desirable if you could configure the vehicle to do this automatically. This obviously knows exactly when you drive into a tunnel and thus the air recirculation function could simply be switched on and off automatically.... more »

Convenience

Smart Seat Heaters / Seat Heaters Relative to Cabin Temp

Instead of manually controlling the seat heaters, it would nice if the seat heater temp would be controlled relative to the cabin temperature. So as the cabin temp warms up, the seat heaters slowly ramp down the heat so my butt isn't 🔥 .

Convenience

Short-cut or automatic mode for A/C circulation toggle

Driving through long tunnels, heavy traffic or country sites can bring heavy air pollution. Switching A/C circulation mode on needs a swipe and a push to the button. Not convenient in heavy traffic without Autopilot. Car should offer short-cut to toggle. E.g. Double-click volume scrolling wheel, voice commands, dedicated button on main screen, automatic switch with air sensor(if any) or map data (tunnels) , but please... more »

Convenience

Start Climate When I Get Near My Car

Imagine its hot AF 🔥 out and you're coming back from the waterpark at the end of the day with your kids. Everyone is exhausted and pissed - its 110F outside.

When your Tesla mobile app notices that you are getting close to the car (say in the parking lot), the climate system is turned on and starts to cool down the crazy hot car to its last known temperature setting. Now you have a nice cool car waiting for you... more »

Convenience

Climate control option for home thermostat-like settings

I fiddle with climate settings WAY too much! Vehicle climate control would benefit from being able to pick a high temperature threshold where AC would engage and a low temperature threshold where the heater would engage. Since everyone's tolerance and energy consumption needs are different, it would let them pick their personal thresholds. For example, I would set my high temperature to 74 F and my low temperature setting... more »

Convenience

Allow thumb wheel to turn HVAC fan all the way off

Currently, the thumbwheel climate control can only turn the fan down to 1; it cannot turn it all the way to 0.

This means I either have to put up with air still blowing in my face, albeit gently, or reach across to the center console to go into the climate control to turn the fan to "off".

Please update the software to allow the thumb wheel to turn the HVAC system all the way off, instead of stopping at "1".

Convenience

Auto Dual Temperature Mode

Each time when the car goes out of Park, when a passenger is detected activate split temperature controls, same settings like last time when the function was activated.

If the passenger is not detected use just one zone, remember the setting for one zone from last time when it was used.

Convenience

Temperature sensor

Add temp gun / laser type sensor to read the driver / passengers chest / lap temp for climate control. Current auto system is useless on a sunny day. This would be for new models or cut into current model production. It wouldn't cost much and would be a game changer in the auto industry.
