Assigned Supercharging Stall Number

Its takes a lot of savvy to know which is the best stall when you get to a SuperCharger. Most people aren't aware of how SuperChargers are paired up for example. And/or it can sometimes be difficult to even know which stall is which b/c the numbers on the stall might have worn off. Or worse, not all stalls are the same (ie, V1, V2, or V3).

The idea would be to simply suggest which stall is the best stall for you. Tesla... more »

Adapter for Mobile Connector to charge one Tesla from another EV

It would be awesome to have the ability to get a charge from another EV when stranded on the side of the road by connecting an adapter to the Gen 2 Mobile connector that will allow for Tesla to Tesla charging. The screen can be used to determine the amount of charge to be transferred (10%, 20%, etc.). A J1772 adapter can be used to adapt a non Tesla EV charge port into a Tesla charge port. This would act as a sort of... more »

Charging

Tesla to Tesla Bump Charge

A dead battery is the worst. Once Tesla designs the new inverters how about adding the ability to bump charge a Tesla with a Tesla so you can get to a nearby charger? Add an S.O.S. button to inform nearby owners you need a bump and offer supercharger credits for being a Good Samaritan. 5% might just save someone hours of hassle and hundreds of dollars.

Identify Which Stalls are Out of Order in UI

It's common practice to place a supercharger cable over the top of the charger if a particular stall is out of order. The goal is to save other people from backing in and then realizing it's not working.

The display currently shows how many stays are working, but it doesn't show you which stalls are out of order.

Suggestion: show which stalls are out of order right in the display.

Charging

Germans want in

I've an issue with the German transport minister wanting Tesla to open up its charging network to competing EV manufacturers. All that will do is shift the buying publics focus from buying a Tesla because it has a superior product and charging infrastructure.

If this happened and you pull up to your supercharger in your Tesla, only to find them all occupied by Audi's etc.
