Super Efficiency Mode

This idea is to have a mode that super conserves power. For example, if you're in a situation where you don't think you'll make it to a charger, and you want to conserve as much power as possible. Some settings to enable in this mode:

-screen is dimmed

-chill mode enabled

-max regen braking

-climate control set to range mode

Any other ideas on how to improve efficiency while in this mode? Please comment below...

Home Mode

A suite of settings that are triggered when your vehicle is at home. Some common settings for this would be:

-Turn off Sentry Mode (usually not needed at home).

-Pause climate control

-Homelink control (open/close garage door)

-Always unlock charge port regardless if car is locked/unlocked (open charge port without key)

Airport Mode

Have a mode that reduces vampire consumption to the bare minimum, updating the server side of the app with SOC and vehicle state once per day, and shutting off remote access and other background features consuming power otherwise. Include a special cabin overheat that purges hot air once or twice, mid-day, if enabled. Have a trip return date option so the car can wake up the day you're arriving back to the car for... more »

Allow entry of specific parameters to optimize comfort while conserving sufficient battery to reach nearest charger. Essentially set a battery sapping floor and then indicate a preferred temp and expected duration of climate control (ie I... more »

Freezing Rain Mode

Use weather forecast, or manual mode to maintain cabin_temp > 1°C when freezing rain is happening. Would prevent doors, windows and especially handles from freezing up.

Drive-Thru Mode

When you're indulging in that uniquely (let's face it) American pastime 🍔 of eating in your car, it would be great if your Tesla knew that you were in a drive-thru. Most importantly, when in this mode, the car chimes would just chill out and stop bugging me while I'm flustered trying to interrogate everyone in the car for their order. Other helpful features: -show the menu for the restaurant on the display... more »

Modes

Elon's Seat mode

Elon's driver profile should be an option, so we can all feel what it's like to sit in Elon's chair!

And along the same lines, their should be a couple driver profiles pre programmed, like petite, bulky, etc...

Drive-In Mode

Drive-in Mode would optimize for the best movie watching experience:

-all screens in dark mode (or off)

-rear shocks down, front shocks up for best viewing angle

-headlights off (of course)

-dome lights off
